Beyond economic considerations, the incorporation of LGBTQIA+ into Equal Opportunity (EO) and Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives is the main reason many Whites and Blacks to include White and Black Christians voted for President Trump in my view. In my view, such an incorporation is a major reason for many believing the push against DEI is warranted. Such incorporations were never put into Congressional law by both the House of Representatives and Senate but rather through Executive Orders. Indeed, it should not have been and should not ever be.
The House of Representatives did pass two bills which I will point out. However, the Senate seems to not have passed them so the bills have not become law and are just sitting there in the Senate it seems.
The first bill is called “The Equality Act” first introduced in 2019. It comprehensively aims to incorporate LGBTQIA+ terminology into law.
The second bill is called the “Equity and Inclusion Enforcement Act” also introduced in 2019. Bill includes a provision where antisemitism was to be considered as discrimination on the basis of race, color or national origin; that seems problematic as there was no provision for anti-Christian and Judaism is already covered in the provision of Equal Opportunity prohibiting discrimination on the basis of religion.
Therefore, it seems all the activity in the government and society at large about LGBTQIA+ and Diversity, Equity and Inclusions has been by Executive Orde not by Congressional law.
That is the reason President Trump is able to roll back much of what has been implemented regarding Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI).
As aforementioned, the incorporation of LGBTQIA+ also provided opportunity for those who had concern about some of the Equal Opportunity provisions made before the DEI push to roll back some Equal Opportunity provisions.
Just shows when Black people support unrighteous matters on the basis of historical racism it ends up hurting us rather than helping us. We as Blacks and those supporters of Blacks must avoid legitimizing and supporting evil on the basis of our anger and resentment of historical large scale racism. God is not with us on that; it is war we cannot win and only hurts us and the nation. That ought to be discernable.
We also must not allow groups who promote such things as explicitly incorporating antisemitism into EO to give them an advantage over other groups such as Christians. If anything should be there it should be anti-Christian given that our goal must be the Christianization of America less it be made into something else such as a Judaism nation or Islamic Nation or a Hebrew Israelism nation or Buddhism or some other type nation. Judaism already has a nation over in the land of Israel. Of course, as a Christian nation we do not and should not prohibit non-Christian worship centers such as Synagogues and Mosques and Temples. Yet, we should not support them in pushing for the establishment of governmental laws and societal norms not rooted in Christian based New Testament provisions.
