This article outlines some of the observations concerning coronaviruses especially concerning the Coronavirus COVID-19 that occurred in the December 2019 on into 2020 time period.
On January 6, 2020 the Center for Disease and Control (CDC) issued a warning concerning travel to China over Coronavirus detection.
On January 14, World Health Organization (WHO) issued a report that Thailand had reported that one of its citizens had imported the virus from China.
USA Today Newspaper reported the problem in a January 24, 2020 article.
On January 24, 2020 President Trump tweeted “China has been working very hard to contain the Coronavirus. The United States greatly appreciates their efforts and transparency. It will all work out well. In particular, on behalf of the American People, I want to thank President Xi!”.
On January 27, 2020 Presidential Candidate Joe Biden wrote a USA Today article criticizing President Trump’s handling of the 2019-2020 Coronovirus outbreak up to that point.
If the USA was on notice by at least January 6 so was WHO and so was the world at least the major countries. So then at least by January 6, 2020, governments and media of all nations/countries had sufficient data available to them warning them a Coronovirus human transmission had been detected in China in December 2019. Governments and media failed to sufficiently act at least due to their focus on what turned out to be less important matters. This has resulted in a 2020 worldwide Coronavirus COVID-19 Pandemic that may have been averted or at least diminished.
Our Government and Media need our prayers (1 Tim 2:1-2). We cannot depend on government nor media to inform, warn, and protect us.
Clearly in the Mosaic Law God implicitly established protection against things like coronaviruses. Why not explicitly so? Well I am not God so I don’t know. So in regards to the natural body we as individuals need to take responsibility for our own physical health by eating smartly so as to optimize our immune system. During time of outbreaks we need to have faith being wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove toward ourselves and others.
